About the Program

The College of Alberta Denturists’ regulated members are in a program that has a five-year reporting cycle, whereby the regulated members must obtain a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of College approved continuing education in a five-year cycle. As well, each regulated member must obtain a minimum of ten (10) hours of approved continuing education each calendar year.

College of Alberta Denturists Continuing Competency Rules

The College of Alberta Denturists Continuing Competency Rules provides the regulated members with guidelines and rules related to the program. The College provides for pre-approval of courses and maintains a record of the pre-approved courses for the members to access. The pre-approved courses meet requirements as indicated in the rules. Courses can be pre-approved upon request by either a member or presenter. See Course Accreditation.

The College of Alberta Denturists requires that all regulated members submit Annual Continuing Competency. This is a requirement for renewal of a practice permit for the upcoming year.
